Love music videos. Absolutely an art form in itself in my opinion, and sadly a lost art form since the golden age (90s and 00s). The rise of youtube and streaming has absolutely put paid to it as we knew it. I always remember the excitement when your favourite bands had a new single out and you'd wait to see the video.

Lucky enough to work @ MTV through the 00s so I've seen countless fantastic ones and far too many to mention individually. I used to have stacks and stacks of them compiled on VHS(!) tapes

However, and interestingly/controversially because I know it's objectively 'good', I HATE the video for Just by Radiohead (sorry mallard!) and I can't stand watching it. I do hate the song as well, though.

One I don’t get bored of watching is Malcolm McClarens Double Dutch, bit exhausting just thinking about it.

One that made me really listen to the song was Disturbed Sound of Silence.

As for the worst, there really is so much self indulgent shit it’s impossible to pick.

A couple of my favourites are Lickin' by The Black Crowes. 'let's just put a two-bob mobile phone on the floor and let it roll to show everyone that we are the best 'low- down and greasiest band in the world', Aphex twin's Window Licker (especially the long uncut version) and Di Antwoord's Sexy Boy.

An honourable mention ro Childish Gambino's This Is America, an almost unbelievable attention to detail about how black people have been treated in every single costume, dance and reference to the past Breathtaking.

Shittest? Fucking hell, where do you even start?

I discovered ZZ Top via Sounds when I was young when Lemmy said that they were his favourite live band.
This is just such a brilliant way to break yourself in a new country. Just a little old boogie band from Texas doing their thing.

My favourite is a fan video for Space is deep by Hawkwind.Whoever put it together.did it perfectly.

How very dare you.
That's the wonderful Bootsy Collins doing the backong vocals in the Deee-lite song.
I love the song too - catchy and silly and they know it.
